Prof. (Dr.) Shardhanand Harinandan Singh is a distinguished scholar, educational policy adviser and an inter-disciplinary researcher who has over five decades of professional experience in inter-cultural education, psychosocial integration and community-based governance. Born in 1944 in Suriname and resident in the Netherlands, he has been instrumental in shaping multicultural policy, effecting transformative education policy and reform in Europe. He is also an Ayurvedic practitioner.

Dr. Singh is the founder of the academic paradigm of Girmitiyalogy (2025), which has given rise to an emerging inter-disciplinary field of study focused on the archival digitalization and genealogical restoration and ethical reinterpretation of Indian indentured labor migration in the context of Vedic Itihāsa (इतिहास). His work is rooted in the principles of human dignity and diversity and restorative justice and international cooperation and is guided by the ethos of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and Aatmanirbhar.

Admission Requirements:

To apply for this program of study, learners should have EU-recognised / equivalent qualifications as mentioned below:

You are required to hold, at a minimum, a recognised Bachelor’s degree or EQF Level 6 full qualification with a minimum overall score of 55% (GPA 2.0 on a 4.0-point scale) or higher. Applicants from any academic discipline are welcome to apply, provided they can demonstrate strong motivation and potential for business leadership.

Note:
  • While a business-related undergraduate degree (such as Business Administration, Economics, or Finance) is advantageous, candidates from non-business fields (e.g., History, Engineering, Psychology) are also encouraged to apply.
  • Professional experience, ideally in a management or leadership role, is preferred but not mandatory.
English Language Proficiency:
Our online MBA degree programs are conducted in the English language. As such, you must demonstrate proficiency in the English language. Proficiency in English, demonstrated through TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent scores if the applicant’s first language is not English.

English Proficiency Waivers:
The English proficiency test is not required for the following candidates:
  • Native English Speakers, OR;
  • Applicants having completed their schooling in English (i.e. High School Diploma or IB), OR;
  • Applicants having completed their undergraduate or graduate studies in English, OR;
Digital competence: Learners should have a basic level of digital competence, including familiarity with computers, the internet and common software applications.

The Curriculum

The Master of Business Administration program consists of 8 modules. It is mandatory to submit a final project/thesis or business plan. Most courses are worth 10 credits and are assessed by exam, assignment, or a combination of the two. 90 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits are awarded to students who obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
